Do NOT move here... THUGVILLE

... at least anywhere near building 10. This place was fine when I moved here in November of 2004, now it is turning into a complete ghetto. The nice people that lived around me all moved out, and all that remain are wanna-be thugs, lowlifes, and cholos. They sit outside on their crappy rides and stare at anyone who is unfortunate enough to enter the complex.

Every night, all night, I hear nothing but LOUD exhausts and cars revving into the night. The best comparison I could give would be living in a high school parking lot. Idiots with loud ricer fartcans and trucks with straight exhausts constantly seem to be having a contest to see who can wake up the most people. On a typical Saturday morning, if I have the chance to sleep in, I usually get awoken up no less than 10 times by these idiots starting up and driving by. We even had some snot nosed kids racing (the one with the riced out red integra, and some other primer black ones) around the complex like he was in a japanese drift competition.

I have been outside and seen cars doing burnouts and hauling ass around and have had to jump out of the road to avoid being hit one time. I hear others have almost been run over but the office and guard don't seem to care one bit. (So funny that as I've been writing this at 1am, there have been no less than 2 loud as hell exhausts outside. It sounds like one is running the 1/4 mile now...)

I've got an aftermarket alarm on my car and these fools make a game of setting it off. I've witnessed some ricer -------s start their car up, rev it as loud as possible, and then drive the LONG way around the loop just to rev and set my alarm off before leaving.

Most of these same people sit outside and thump base on their loud car audio systems at all hours of the night. The new people that moved in above/below me constantly crank their stereos so loud I can actually feel my floor shaking beneath my feet. I've called the police and they said the management must address the issues. The office gave them a "notice" when I complained, but that night someone coincidentally decided to vandalize my car. They tell you they will do something, and the manager (CJ) says she is warning them. But, nothing has changed, and most people are afraid to complain as their cars will only end up vandalized if they do.

My car is one of the few decently nice cars in the place and I have one of the carports that barely covers it. The place is basically hell if you care about your car. Don't bother washing it if you live, here because the sprinkler systems spray the road more than the grass. Each time you leave you will get your car doused in reclaimed piss water. This also makes puddles and potholes a problem, and the roads are covered in sand. Each time I drive out of the place it looks like I took my car out on the beach.

I've had my car vandalized on multiple occasions. People repeatedly steal the center caps off my wheels, and I have had cigarettes put out all over the back hatch and the paint chipped. I replaced my wheels and had my old ones sitting on the 2nd floor balcony, and someone CLIMBED UP and broke the center caps out of them. The guy that lives next to me had his expensive bicycle stolen off his 2nd floor balcony. The few decent people that still It makes me wonder if they've ever actually climbed up and entered my apartment...

The apartments are not anything great. The AC wastes a ton of money. It's either arctic cold or blazing hot, nowhere in between. If you don't turn it off while out of the apartment you will have $100/mo electric bills. I have stains that seeped up from carpet padding after I moved in, it looks like dog urine and black spots. The paint on the interior/exterior sucks. The tiles in the bathroom/kitchen constatly are peeling up. The closet has MOLD from the unit above mine's AC leaking. The maintenance fix was just to cut a hole in the ceiling and then paint over the rest. The workout area sucks, and has no AC at the moment. There's more that I can mention, but I think you get the picture...

Don't let the appearance of this place fool you. While the trees and the lake look nice, it's a complete hell if you enjoy sleeping or having a nice vehicle. I'm going to pay the fee to break my lease ($1100-ripoff) and will be moving out next week to a non-ghetto place out towards Oldsmar where I can have my own garage.

I can't wait until I move next week and this nightmare is finally over!
