My fiance and I have lived in Audubon for almost a year now. We do intend on signing another year contract when ours is up in December. We live on the third floor in a one bedroom and we absolutely love our apartment! It's in the back of the complex, so the view is amazing and it's sooo private. We rarely hear noise and have never once gotten a noise complaint and our dogs are a bit noisy, so the walls are well crafted. Some of the complaints we have is how much it cost when we first moved in-fees for the "grounds" so they say. The grounds are well maintained, however EVERYONE lets their dogs poop all over and no one picks it up. We live in the very back of the complex and although it's quiet, if you come in late at night on a weekday, there is almost NO where to park...it's quite a hike to your building when you're the last one and everyone is parking in your lot instead of theirs. The appliances are very old and sometimes, the dishwasher makes our dishes more dirty than they were when we first put them in, also our fridge had rust in it and when we informed the leasing office, they said there was nothing they could do...they will not replace the appliances, which bothers me a lot because we really like living here and plan on staying. The maintenance is wonderful...they're extremely friendly and come out within the 48 hours, but it's usually within 24. Pest control is wonderful as well. We had an ant problem when we first moved in and whenever we put an order in-the pest control was here that week. The people at the leasing office are nice until you have an issue with safety on the property. My fiance, some friends that had come to visit and myself all had our cars vandalized...someone was scifening gas from our tanks and the people at the leasing office wanted nothing to do with it. They told us to call the police-never sent a notice around or anything. When I told them about the issue, they didn't seem surprised either-so I think there had been previous complaints as well. We got gas caps that had locks on them and didn't have another problem, but I do wish the management would've done something about the problem. Other than that, our neighbors are okay and we really do enjoy living here and will be living here for another year. The location is great, close to everything...that's the best part!
