Three weeks after I moved in I was mugged. That happened right outside my apartment because they refused to fix the lighting (it was so dark I could not hardly see the sidewalk). Afterward, the maintenance foreman did not want to change the key to the postal box because, regarding stealing mail: "but that would be a federal offence." Like the robber feared breaking the law!! It too two weeks to get the lock to the storage closet changed, during which the robber had access but I didn't!! The manager stated that under the circumstances, she would waive the termination policy, but she didn't. She billed me until the apartment was re-rented and reported me to a credit agency. I'll have to go to court because the problem started with Broadmoor refusing to comply with the building code. On the plus side, it is beautiful and reasonably priced; at least you can get murdered in a pretty place. Wouldn't surprise me if the manager runs the robbery ring. Definitely, definitely, definitely do not rent here if you value your life!!!
