It is very true! The heavy construction is huge annoyance. Construction company has a two year contract. Expect the following for at least four months of your lease:

Everything you own will need to be moved 3 feet from the walls.
Make sure you hide your valuables.
Heavy banging during the days.
You will not have use of your porch and do not expect to get a reduced rent.

In addition:
Maintenance calls took a month before a response after numerous calls.
The jacuzzi is always broken.
Have a nice car' Ghetto children like to throw footballs right next to it. Want to relax by the pool' Ghetto children love to swim and scream to top of their lungs.
Banging from construction very stressful for pets. All the staff is very new and dumb, so don't expect smart answers. Staff may not be smart but like to ride golf carts.
There have been robberies here as well. It is advertised as a gated community. The gates are never closed, always open.

So when they show you an available apartment, defintely expect it going up in construction a couple months afterwards.

I couldn't agree more. Everything this guy said is 0 true! The only thing I would add is to watch your step out your front door, because you'll probably step on a nail, or drive over one that pops your tire like me.

Totally agree. Construation guys got into my apartment without writen notice and my personal info was exposed in my office room, the staff will not do anything. Gates are a joke.
