Years at this apartment: 2009 - 2009
I moved in here about 6-7 months ago, the staff is (especially the assistant manager) very annoying and do not complete there jobs. I finally had enough and broke my lease to get out of here.
I seen the reviews on here and they were explained away with good reasons. However, I wish I would have went strictly by the reviews.
First if you have a big dog, as you know it's hard to find a place, and Camden does allow all size dogs for a flat fee of $200. However, speaking of dogs if you come out to the property make sure you walk around behind the apartments, there is a disgusting amount of dog feces throughout the property. People here do not pick up after their dogs nor does the ground keepers, it will take about two weeks of complaining before they come out and get half of it and a few days later it's as bad as it was before.
The complaints on here about maintenance is accurate, they were suppose to come out the day after I moved in it took several phone calls and two weeks before they came out to fix some minor stuff. Also, word of advice, make sure they show you the apartment that you will be renting, they showed me a different one and when I got the keys I found out it was different, and it made a little bit of a difference.
The security gate works maybe 2 days out of the entire month. So plan on that being opened 24/7.
First a comment to the guy below me. It is there job to clean up after those kids that make a mess in public areas. They are to lazy and have the same moronic idea as you do. My biggest complaint is about dog ----. A lot of tenants do not pick up after their dogs. I really don't feel like walking in it, and the management takes forever to get someone out to clean it up. You have to threaten the health department to get them to do what they are paid to do. They need to fire that staff and bring in new people.

As far as the complaints on here about the cable and water, that's their own fault in my personal opinion, unless they were not advised before hand. They told me up front about the fees and how much. I don't really like being forced to have to go with Bright House, however, in reality I probably would have and overall it does make for a nice discount if you upgrade the service because they do bulk specials since every apartment has cable here.
The view here is great, the pool and hot tub are relaxing. Would I recommend this property, I don't know it's hard to say. I actually sent there corporate office a letter today about everything in here plus some other things that were suppose to happen and didn't and if they don't do as they promise I will be breaking lease. However, the community here is still nice. Also, it's simple to break a lease here all you have to do is give a 30 days notice and pay an extra months rent.
Best of luck.
