I have been here for almost 2 years and the entire time I have been trying to get them to fix the alarm in my apartment. After many many calls they still haven't made an effort to fix it, and the light outside my apartment hasn't worked since I have lived here. We have a serious problem with roaches and spiders and I have to ask numerous times before they will send pest control out and they have never sent them unless I specifically asked. No, we never leave food out. They have been out several times and the water heater still doesn't work right and there is mildew in the closet where the water heater and the ac unit are. They also don't clean up the dog excrement from the grounds or make the owners clean it up so the place smells like a litter box.
Also we have had a lot of problems with noise from the neighbors at all hours of the day and night, including neighbors who had their radio set to go off full blast at 5:00am that kept going off for over an hour because they were gone on vacation. The noise from their radio was louder in my apartment than my radio is when I have it on.
It is a well located neighborhood and the security guards are the nicest you could ever meet, so if you don't mind the smell and are a handyman then it might be a decent place to live.
