Remembering why I broke my lease

I wrote a review a year ago saying it was "Up to you". I never came back to add that we broke our lease 2 weeks later when we figured out that the mold in our apartment was what was causing my roommate horrible health problems. She was in the E.R. twice and on constant medications and doctor trips while we lived there and a year later is just now beginning to settle (after getting a lawyer months ago) to get back her medical expenses as the problem was blatently deemed unimportant by maintenence. They wanted to charge us $3k for breaking our lease but when they realized we weren't backing down and that we had been gathering info from other neighbors for a possible civil suit they let us out within the week and didnt even charge us for the paint on the walls. I happened to be looking for an apartment again and thought I would check up on Camdens ratings, I see nothing has changed.
