We got a pretty special coming in less than 12 months ago, but then I began to wonder why my rent was so high...first it was because the paperwork that was submitted by my leasing consultant was correct..not a problem. Then I found out that I was being charged an outrageous water bill..strike one. A few months later, I noticed mold that is now getting a bit out of hand in the apartment...I remembered speaking to another renter in the fitness center that told me that they moved him and his girlfriend to another apartment because she was getting sick from the mold...strike two. Leaky faucets and tub that needs new caulk which I had to re-caulk because maintenance hasn't come out yet...strike three. There are other things, but I've written enough. I hope they get their act together and realize that running an apartment complex isn't just about collecting the rent and water bills and making sure the pools and fitness center are locked up every night at 10pm.
