I came to Camden with the best expectations, when I first moved in there were dead roaches in the apartment which I was happier to see than live roaches.
It looked as if they had moved us in earlier than planned because there was paint on the windows and doors that hadn't been scraped off yet.
The first few months in the apartment were uneventful then I started to hear really loud music every sunday morning from the neighbors.
Later, the office managers allowed a convicted felon to move in below us, he ended up stealing our truck one night and I found out later routinely entering our apartment when we were not home.
The neighbors that we got after he was evicted were not much better, their kids make noise every day at 7am and despite repeated calls to the office have not stopped.

The ice maker in our refrigerator sprayed about 1/2 gallon of water on the floor during every cycle, despite 3 trips by maintenance it was never fixed, I finally got tired of either having no ice or having water on the floor and decided to fix it myself, it took less than 2 minutes.

The grounds staff would routinely blow leaves into our apartment if we tried to leave the door open on a nice day.

Every vehicle that we have has been vandalized, stolen, knocked over, or blocked in at some point in our time here.

The carpet wasn't properly installed leading to sections rolling up or unravelling.

The fitness center is far from as described.

The best feature is its location, it is near a bar/pool hall, a full featured gym, a wonderful sushi and teppan restaurant, and a pizza place. It is also very close to Publix and Lowe's making shopping convenient.

In the community's defense they do also hold "happy hour" during the warmer months which is a lot of fun.

I wouldn't recommend this to a friend, but if there is nowhere else to rent from the location makes up for a lot.

never had any problems with theft either. Some people get criminal records after they move in. And some people live in apartments that shouldn't be there
