First impression this place looks and sounds great, but for the same money you can find much better. Maintenance is slow, and does a horrible job. My dishwasher was replaced and it literally fell out! They came back to fix it, and still didn't stay in. . . unacceptable. I would also like to add I had about a 3 foot by 2 foot patch of mold in my apartment for over a month! I called almost every day to get someone out there to take care of it and it took a MONTH! Eventually found out it was caused by a leaky roof even though they insisted it was my fault for keeping my air too low (which I keep it at 78. . . hardly a temperature for condensation to appear on the window). I probably should have called the health inspector. They are also money hungry. They will try to charge you for anything they can. . . make sure you look at your account frequently because the charges may be wrong or made unfairly with no justification. I think what is the worst is that the office staff is RUDE and MEAN. Even when just calling to ask a simple question. . .not even complaining or angry about anything. . .they have a huge attitude. I wish I was just generalizing the staff based on one person but I have literally talked to every single person in that office on several different occasions and they are just miserable people. I know apartment living isn't ideal, but you can find a place that actually cares about your well being. I think Camden Live Oak's poor ratings speak for themselves. It is also important to remember that people are far more likely to get on this site to write a bad review than a good one, but when compared to other apartments this is a LOW rating.

Oh, and don't bother walking your dog outside. . . the grounds are covered in fleas. Even with their flea medicine on I have problems with it because it is so bad.

It's true - My cat got flees while we were living in Camden Live Oaks and she's our only pet who never goes outside. Since we've moved the fleas are gone.

your pets probably have fleas because of your lifestyles. clean up after yourself

Fleas are not because of lifestyles. The grounds are most definitely, positiviely infested with fleas outside. We also had a broken dishwasher replaced but it has worked since being replaced.
