The apt. itself is nice. Leather couches, tv, nice furniture, etc. There are no fans in the bedrooms which is a nightmare when your a.c. doesn't work right, and there's no towel bar or medicine cabinet in the bathroom. weird'' I thought so. I've never had too much of a problem with noise, but it is a college apt. so there's going to be some disturbances every now and then. Other than that, I've had nothing but problems with this place from the day that I moved in. Before I signed my lease last summer I was promised that I would be able to move into my apt. here on Aug. 1st, since I had to be out of my old apt. on July 31st. I would NOT have signed the lease had I not been able to do this and I explained that to them 100 times. So the ENTIRE summer went by and I thought everything was fine. 2 days before I was supposed to move in, I went to campus club to make sure everything would be ready for me, and they tell me that I could not move in until the 3rd week in Aug! To make a long story short, there was a TON of miscommunication on their part and after being rude and blaming me for everything, they finally ended up finding a space for me on Aug. 1st.

Rent is pretty expensive, possibly the most expensive in the area now as far as college apts. go. Our cap for electricity is $120 for the whole apt., which seems reasonable, but when there's no fans in the rooms to circulate air, and your a.c. unit never works properly, you end up paying almost $100 more per person in electricity every quarter.

Parking is also a nightmare here. They tow like crazy and there are very few visitor spots. We used to be able to park at the bowling alley, but now they tow over there. Then 7-11 said that we could park there, but they're towing now too.

The mail system is also horrible. The post office delivers our mail to the office and then the office is supposed to distribute our mail to our boxes. Well...for the majority of the year, we have only gotten our mail maybe 3 days out of the week. When we had packages, they tried to notify us by putting a slip in our box, but 95% of the time they never informed us. I've had packages sit in the office for a week without them notifying me. Greystar management just took over about a month ago and said that they would be getting a new mail sorter so that we would get our mail on time and that they would post a notice on their tv channel for people who have packages to pick up. Well, that was a nice thought I guess, but the tv channel does not work, and while the mail has gotten a little bit better, they still don't deliver our saturday mail even though the office is open! I can't figure that one out! Much of the office staff is rude and not very helpful. (The maintenance is great though and very friendly.)

Another problem that my roommates and I had was with the walkway leading to our front door. Whenever it rains it gets very slippery. There were no drains in the slick concrete, so it would just create these huge puddles. I slipped and fell on one of them one day back around October and was hurt pretty badly. We notified the office immediately and they said they were going to have drains installed in the next 2 weeks. Well, about 6 months later, around March, they FINALLY got around to putting drains in. Real considerate, huh'

Overall, this complex is just like the rest of the college apts. in Temple Terrace, only a lot more expensive. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place sucks.

Oh my gosh it is nearly August and I just fell on the slick concrete outside my apt! I thought I just had shoddy treading on my flipflops and blamed myself.

No way, it's still horrible even with the drains. They need to make it a textured ground instead of a slick area before someone gets seriously injured. I still cling to the drainage pipe on the wall if i'm walking through there when it's raining.
