Since I moved in (July '06) there was a change in ownership. The new owners are really working hard to pull this place together and is doing a very good job of it. When my refrigerator broke, they had a replacement for me within an hour. When the toilet base cracked, it was repaired immediately. When the hot water nozzle wouldn't turn off completely, they were there and fixed it the next morning. I've heard people complain about bugs, but I've never seen more than one bug a month (If that). The pest control works. Don't blame the complex if your neighbors are slobs and their bugs are coming through into your apartment. ;) When I moved in, they had put a fresh coat of paint on the wall, installed a new air conditioner, AND installed new carpet in the living room/ bedroom and new tiles on the floor in the bathroom and kitchen. Its one of the nicer places you'll find with rent as cheap as it is here. It was $460 when I moved in, and when I renewed the past year, they upped it to $485. Seems pretty reasonable to me. As for noise, other than the occasional ambulance that has to come in, you get the dumpster once a week or so, but thats usually so early in the morning that, unless you're a REALLY light sleeper, you won't notice. They have also hired a security guard in the past few months. The new security is effective in handling any issues. (Neighbor noise, etc, etc.)
