I lived in Captiva from 2001-2002, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I had problems with my upstairs neighbor partying and blasting his stereo. The couple across from him had violent fights and had the cops called several times. The gates were broken during the entire time I was there, and they never made an attempt to fix them. I had an ant problem due to someone driving into the building. When I called the office, the girl actually told me to stuff some paper towels in the wall to control the ants because the maintenance staff didn't respond when they said they would. They also lied about completing maintenance requests. It was horrible. Four years later, I see nothing has changed.
