I have lived here 5 years. I have seen this place go downhill every year, but have never in my life lived in a slum like this!! I too have severe mold problems, in the ventilation system and in my bathroom. Have had a leak for months. They keep trying to fix it (when they finally get around to it, weeks later) but still having water come up between the linoleum tiles when you step on them. When the guy took the linoleum up the first time, there was horrible black mold under there. Thank God I happenned to be home that day because the guy was going to glue right over the mold***!!!!!! When I insisted he do something about it, he sprayed clorox on it and let it dry. It has leaked again since, so, what can I tell you!! Even the new floor looks like it was put sdown by an amature. I could have done better, he even left the new floor smeard with glue. I'm not cleaning up after him!! I report problems and days go by and nothing is done. I then ask the maintenance guy (in spanish) if he knew about the work order and he denies ever getting one. This has happened several times, ever since they started here. I feel I'm chasing after some slum lord in New York to fix basic things. Needless to mention other "non essentials" that need attention here. I am moving when my lease is up. I can't take it anymore. I am going to find who the owner of this place is and let them know what is going on around here. It looks nice on the outside but it's rotting on the inside. I wonder if the management co. knows what's going on here.
It's not worth it to live here.
