I luckily only signed a 7 month lease. I moved here from out of state and found this apartment online. When I got here I thought, small and a bit scummy, but hey, It's only for 7 months right, how bad can it be' IT IS HELL!! Plumbing is a joke. I had my kitchen sink clogged for three weeks when I first moved in, called a couple times a week and they finally came. Toilet has overflown so often I lost count, and only from throwing a small wad of paper in. Water bill is UNBELIEVEABLY HIGH. I live by myself and have a $60 bill every month. I've said something about that a couple of times but everyone just shrugs their shoulders. Electric bill is EXTREMELY HIGH. I sweated out a few months but had to finally break down and turn on the air conditioner in this heat, and I only have it on 77 degrees. My bills are pushing $100 every month. They never announce when they will be coming into your apartment ( not for your maintanence requests) when the complex asks them to do something. I was taking a shower one day and they were practically breaking down the door to get in. Thank god I had a second lock and my dog to deter the maintanence guy. The laundry areas are a joke. I've lost so much money in those machines because half the time they never work. Things that they need to control: I was witness to a knife fight in front of one of the laundry areas, cops are here on a daily basis (haven't decided if thats a good thing or bad), people NEVER pick up after their pets (I think I'm the only one in the complex who does and I'm about to stop myself), inconsiderate people who blast their music or scream and yell outside until 6am, stolen or broken into property, and I'm sure I'm missing a few more things. I move in less than a month and I'm counting down the days!! Please heed my warning, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!
