Living in Coopers pond started out ok and went downhill fast. I am a reasonable person who doesn't expect a whole lot. I did not feel safe here and important service requests took days. Some of my neighbors played music so loudly (at all hours) that I could hear it in my bedroom over the fan. And the office would not even talk to them.
**As others have mentioned, I had people enter my apartment without warning. One time was very scary. I was taking a nap when suddenly my door opened and there was a man standing there. He quickly closed my door and I walked out into the main area to find him and another woman from the office. They were "inspecting" the apartment.**
AND--I find it unbelievable that a staff member- a "Manager" - is actually here having nasty disputes with tenants. I guess I shouldn't be surprised given the unprofessional way that office is run. One of the requirements when posting or responding to a review is to check a box to verify that you are NOT a staff member. It seems that some of the great reviews were actually written by staff members!
I am so happy now after putting this place behind me. I've dealt with some nasty people and definitely do not want to have a person like that who is basically in control of my home. Keep in mind when selecting an apartment that the staff- and "manager"- will have the chance to make or break your whole time spent that that residence. I've lived in 4 apartment homes and this place was by far the worst ever- partially due to the staff and "management".

I disagree. I haven't had any problems at all. As long as you speak to them with respect and patience they'll treat you with respect and patience. My boyfriends car window was shattered by a pine cone and Mardi and one of the maintenance ladies drove out to his car to look it over. She assured me she would do whatever she could to have the money refunded to me. Maybe they were so nasty to you because you gave them some attitude.

I understand why you'd assume that maybe I was at fault somehow, but that's not the case. I've been in the customer service industry for over 10 years, so I realize the importance of being kind and calm while trying to resolve an issue with discrepancies. I have had many issues resolved and recieved refunds when due because of my positive attitude. Unfortunatly the problems I faced while residing here had NOTHING to do with anything I did wrong. And, since I am in the industry, I DO notice the level of cust. service provided and I notice the LACK thereof. Even IF I were nasty, which I was not, it doesn't excuse the unprofessionalism - nor the bad attitude - on the part of the staff who is supposed to be there to always maintain a professional level of customer service!!

To Skinlight, you should read all the past reviews. I agree with amyv830, regardless of tenants' attitude, you still need to treat customers with respect. That's clearly missing from these ppl in the office!
