1.After I made a "refundable" pet deposit,management claimed they did not receive one after I vacated - I was out $250.
2.As the other reviewer states,I too have witnessed many vehicle break-ins.Countrywood claims they have onsite security vehicle patrol but security shows up at 8:30pm to make an appearance and then vanishes for 24 hours. If you call them, they return to the apartment 30 minutes later!
3.Countrywood does not properly screen their applicants! I had 10 people dealing drugs in a 2 bedroom apartment next door.Guns,all-night fights etc...It was a nightmare.
4.Countrywood claims they have lighted tennis courts.The court lighting has been broken for over a year.
5.Countrywood claims they have a spa in 'phase 2'.They don't. It is broken and inoperable.
6.My air conditioner broke down 3 weeks in August.I suffered 3 weeks while their untrained AC maintenance staff "tweaked it".I threatened with an attorney and got a new AC.
7.The units look presentable on the exterior as they were upgraded with siding but the inside is old and had a roach problem.
If you think saving $100 on rent is worth it, think again. You can get an apartment in the Carrollwood area for just a little more - without getting cheated out of your depost! spectrum_video@yahoo.com
