Denied Deposit

I found this link on the USF bulletin - When I moved into Countrywood, management wanted my deposit in the form of a money order and would not accept a check. I thought this was strange. 2 years after vacating, I was denied my pet deposit back as no damage was done by my miniature pincher. Management claimed they did not receive a pet deposit! When I searched my online banking for a copy of their canceled check, it dawned on me that I discarded the money order receipt! Did management do this intentionally' I can not comment on the noise level as I was seldom home although I did hear about car break-ins and theft.
