I am sitting here reading about pet deposits not being returned.... roaches... parking.... rude staff.... probs with maint.... policy's not being enforced... the missing tampa man.... and bad security. I just cannot believe these people!! What would they do if they owned a home'' 1st of all there is not a pet deposit, it is a pet fee (DUH) non-refundable. I know.. I have a dog and it was explained to me. They do not charge monthly pet rent idiots! Roaches''' I have been here since 1999 and NO bugs. People get pissed off and will write anything. I live in the 1st phase and if I come home late at night and have to park far away from my apartment so be it. What are they supposed to do' Tell every resident NO guests can park here'' I have never had any bad encounter with staff. Maint is always there even at 3 in the morning when the supply line broke on my toilet. As far as policies being enforced' How do they know'''''' Do they work in the office''' Maybe they can read minds. Wow. As far as the missing tampa man goes... let's see.. no one bothered to put in there that he was found wandering in the woods next to his home on a crack binge. Good God! And security... this one is the best. They do not have security for these peoples STUFF (like it's worth anything) get RENTERS INSURANCE! There is a mobile patrol service but they are not here to guard YOUR belongings!!! It's right there in the newsletter. They are here for the owners property. People are simply incredible. I wonder how they get on with life on their own. They must have Mommy and Daddy holding their hands because most of these people are college kids pouting because something did not go their way. AAWWW Poor things. Get a LIFE The only time I'm moving is when I buy my home. I love it here.

Its obvious that the person who wrote this post which "praises" countrywood is a member of the staff attempting to do damage control. Anyone who takes the time visit either phase of this place will see its a DUMP. I can't imagine anyone living here since 1999. I moved here towards the end of last summer and I am counting the days until my lease is up. They have sent me letters begging me to renew, offered me a months free rent, and I still REFUSE to stay here. They are practically begging everyone and anyone to move in because they are so desperate. I see people moving out almost every week. I just can't wait until its my turn. So, if you see a positive comment posted about Countrywood, be assured its a member of the staff. No one in there right mind would praise this hell hole.

Once again, an idiot in search of a village. The number of negative posts should at least pique one's interest about the management and maintenance. The length of the post and the highlighting of specific complaints suggests the writer is part of the management team or at least a crony. I guess everyone who writes a negative review is full of s%*t and a whiner. The comments regarding Chip Chipley are extremely offensive by suggesting a "crack binge." What kind of disgusting piece of humanity are you to invoke the loss of a finer human being than you will ever be in the name of defending a criminal enterprise like Countrywood? Burn in hell mother f&%*ker.

It's amazing how this person feels the apartment complex is so great. I've lived here for almost a year, and as the person who posted on 6/12, I can't WAIT until my lease is up. Someone DOES move almost every other week. They spray the apartment regularly, but I still have roaches - and believe me I do not have a pet and I am one of the cleanest people out there. My closet door has broken, dishwasher has broken numerous times, and my front door lock even stopped working! Granted - they are quick to send maintenance out, I will give them that. But the place IS falling apart. I've called the cops on my neighbors SIX times. I told the front office SIX times. All six times they told me they would take care of it and send her an eviction warning. What am I to do? Wait until her crazy bf decides to shoot her before they kick her out? On top of that my neighbor had someone try to break into his apartment. he complained. They never did anything about it. One of the guys in the building is a cocaine dealer. He's been reported THREE times. They don't do anything about it. Trust me when I say the intro rate of $250 with a month free and no other fees is enticing - but it's NOT worth the hassle and bull **** you will have to deal with.

I have been living in Countrywood for the last 3 months. I have never had a complaint that was not addressed in a timely manner. I see kids playing, people walking pets, never have I seen a drug dealer. I plan on living here until I buy a house.
