My wife was with child and in our stay here we've had our car robbed and numerous harassments from the office. After leaving this hellhole, our family members were being harassed continually by a Professional Debt Mediation threatening us to them with our debt information if we don't contact them for not paying Countrywood Apartments 1.3k that we owe them. We have been quiet residents who have always paid rent on time. Add our horrible experience with this ongoing nightmare and it just makes that one day we signed up to live there the worst mistake of our lives. My wife almost miscarried dealing with the horrors of this place.

I can feel your pain somewhat. My husband and I were prospective tenants, after reading the "post-application" lease and driving through the complex during the evening hours we find that this place is not only an over-crowded DUMP, but one of the biggest CON'S perpetrated on innocent people. The $99.00 Move-In Special is a junk and it is flawed and just a way to make money off of unsuspecting victims. Miriam and William as well as Cindy Marcello Leasing manager are a part of this travesty. Don't be fooled by the MOVE-IN Special it is a trap. The model that they show is nothing like the potential apartment you may get. You don't get to see the actual apartment until your move-in date........by then it's to late you are stuck paying $800.00 rent $80.00 late fee, Teco's average bill is $150.00 per month, $35.00 initial water-deposit that is pre-metered and a host of other fees' If you happen to get locked out of your apartment management can't help you must call a locksmith. Don't get trapped! PLEASE READ ALL DOCUMENTS PRESENTED CAREFULLY, DON'T SIGN ANYTHING IF THERE ARE BLANK SPACES. For the grand sum of $99.00 "MOVE-IN SPECIAL will cost you $9,000 in the end. This complex should be ashamed of itself and their should be a class-action lawsuit for the fraudulent activity by the owners and manager's and leasing agents! After carefully reading the documents presented to me and driving through the complex to see shirtless thugs sitting on cars, hoochies with 6 or more rugrats in tow, mini blinds yellowing from smoke, I went into the office, demanded my security deposit and got the hell out of dodge. This is not a place to call home or a good place at all.

Feeling the pain myself... Water heater has been leaking for several days. Calls to maintenance are not returned - have left messages with the main office now and still not responses. I need to find out if failure to maintain breaks the least. This is rediculous...

It's ok, we're moving out in three weeks. It can't come any sooner. My car got broken into this morning, my wife can't sleep cause both our neighbors from both sides blasts their music at 3 in the morning (this has happened regularly since we got here) . I hear banging going on from all sides every other day to just about every day. I called the sheriff's department, they looked at my car and said I need to report the disturbances at night to the apartments. So, we go into our apartment to relax. The music blares again. I bang on the wall and of course with the cheap structure of this apartment (I mean, this place is basically made of paper) a hole in the wall. I call the office, Cindy (without a shred of compassion in her voice, she actually sounded annoyed) tells me I have to pay for the wall, she's not going to do anything about the disturbances, and I still probably have to pay full rent for the last two months of the year when I'm out. Good day... To make a longer story not as long, I patched up the wall myself and am counting down the days. I want out of here. This place is a non-stop nightmare. We've never been late on a payment, we've always been quiet, you'd figure management would value customers like us.

I moved here in January with my bf. The first week we moved in someone tried breaking in his car, and we knew this because the night before we closed the car up, and the next morning windows were down and the doors were open. He closed the car up again, and ignored it that one time. A couple of days later, someone broke in it again and reversed it. Therefore in the morning it was half way out the parking space. It happened continuosly until he started putting a special hidden lock that does not allow you to move the car. He did this to prevent the car from being stolen. He contacted the sheriff, and they did not do anything at all, I guess because they couldn't understand why someone would try to steal his old beat down car, BUT THEY DID!!!!!!!! We have cops living in this apt complex, but you never see them, and I doubt they do anything to protect the residents. My bf thought it was someone from the outside stealing his car, but they the GHETTOEST ppl living here. You can tell when you have white ppl acting like they are BLACK driving old ass oldsmobiles with 20 inch rims. I can't complain about the noise because it is very quiet in my apt, but there are leaks in my ceiling from the rain because of how cheap these ceilings are. I can not wait to move!!!
