Ugh...Eagle's Point. I lived there for all of 5 months and was eternally greatful to move. I had friends that had lived there a year or so before me and it was a decent complex then...obviously that went downhill fast!

The apt they show you when you're looking to rent is nice. The apt you actually get looks NOTHING like that apt and is in far worse shape.

Our apartment had disgusting carpet. The alarm would periodically go off for no reason. The air conditioner broke at least once a week (turned into a giant ice cube and dripped water into the floor). Even when the AC did work, my room was ALWAYS too hot.

The management' What management' I remember meeting the girl that showed me the apt and then turning over WAY TOO MUCH money each month to some "I'm too busy to acknowledge you" girl in the office. No "Hello, how is everything going'"

But how can you blame them for not being friendly'' Our neighbors were TERRIBLE, I wouldn't want to talk to most of the people that lived in that complex either. The family in back of us let their kids run around all day and night and play in front of our door. The neighbors across from us got in a paintball fight in front of the building, resulting in paint and dents all over our door. Someone lit off fireworks for the 4th of July right in front of a neighbors brand new truck...and bottle rockets constantly exploded into it. Physical fights broke out in the parking lot weekly between unhappy neighbors... Or who knows, maybe drug deals gone bad'

And it's VERY unsafe. My friend got a beer bottle thrown at his car by some drunk guys when he was dropping me off one night. (Completely unprovoked mind you.) My roommates motorcycle was attemptedly stolen one night. (Luckily they gave up before taking the bike.) My car was broken into 2 nights before I moved. It was parked right in front of my door not even 5 feet from the main stairwell.

If you're looking for a college party, go to Eagle's Point. If you're looking for a nice place to live, go somewhere else.
