DO NOT LIVE HERE

so over the past 3 months my boyfriend and i went to eagles point at least 4 times to look at apartments (the date we were going to move changed numerous times). we finally got a date locked down that we were going to move so we went back to eagles point to finally lock down an apartment. when we got there and found an apartment we liked, we were told by the property manager that the apartment would be on hold for us for one week, until we could bring in the application & fees back in (she put it in the paperwork right in front of us). well, over the next week my boyfriend called multiple times to just check in on everything and every phone call ended in the staff telling us that we were all set and the apartment. so we went out and started shopping for our apartment! out of the blue we decided to stop by the complex and finalize everything. when we got there we found out that our apartment was rented out 10 minutes after we left the day we looked at it!!! the reasons were understandable but what we couldnt fathom was how they didnt pick up the phone and tell us that our apartment had been rented out to someone else'! we were out furniture shopping for an apartment we didnt have! and if we hadnt stopped by that day it would have been another week or so until we spoke to them! so we would have just been sitting here thinking we had an apartment when really they screwed us over! a 2 minute courtesy phone call letting us know that we no longer had a place to live is all we would have wanted! DO NOT live here if you want any sort of courtesy from the management/staff. it seems pretty evident that they will screw you over at any point to make a few bucks!
