I lived in this complex since it opened in 2000 until I recently moved into a house. In the beginning, it was quiet and well kept. Gradually over time, the residents became lower quality and were often loud. One of my neighbors said they found out it had been approved as Section 8 housing for this area, which would explain the difference. When comparing notes with my neighbors, I found we were all paying different rents for the exact same apartments. The gate was most always broken and standing open for a month at a time. My neighbor's truck was stolen from right outside our window. Although I think the grounds are nice and the buildings attractive, it wasn't worth the money or hassle.
