There are many nice places here in New Tampa, go anywhere but here, you will thank yourself for it.

The Management is RUDE. I wish I could write how I really felt about Cindy and Lisa at the office, but they wouldn't publish it here for sure.

Cindy and Lisa are the worst at customer service to the point they are downright rude to everyone except potential customers.

We were residents paying $1000 a month for two full years. (we had a three bedroom and two bathrooms) You would think they would treat people with respect (shouldn't you treat paying customers with respect anyway')

The grounds are terrible, they have been working on the front entrance way for over a year.

They enter your appartment without you being there.

One day my wife's medication was delivered to the office -- her HEART medication, something she needs to sustain her life. She called outside the door of the office 5 minutes after they closed (because she got off work at 6), she saw LISA in the office answer her call, LISA said in a rude voice "WE ARE CLOSED, I am NOT OPENING THE DOOR FOR YOUR PACKAGE." It would have taken her 45 seconds to help us.

PARKING!!!
One day we came home on Valentines Day at 2am (I took my wife to dinner and dancing) there was NO PARKING. We could not park on the grass because they have high curbs. I wake up the next morning at 7am to move the car to a spot, I already had a ticket on my car! I went to the office, they said as rudely as possible "You should have bought a Parking Garage", at $100 extra a month I can not afford it, so I guess I could not afford to even live there!

Thats not the only time parking is a real problem, there are many "over night friends" that park in areas designated to paying residents. Since the office does not care about regulating the spaces, you may not be able to park in your own home.

FIRE ALARM!!!!
The fire alarms went off one night. Since no one from management was available for 2 hours, all residents of the two buildings next to us and our building were all standing outside (about 75 of us) from 12 midnight till 2am listening to the FIRE ALARM. MY three kids (ages 1, 4,5) all having to go to school the next morning were with us outside in the PJs. THE REASON -- Management would not come to turn off the alarm.

THE STRAW THAT BROKE THE CAMELS BACK
This week, we were called by Lisa to move our boat, I said I planned on moving it from the designated boat area on Satuday. She said, rudly I might add, "You can't move it sooner'" I said I would try, but I work almost 12 hours a day. She hung up. I tried my best to get it but I could not. I arrive on Saturday MORNING, it was towed. NOTHING WAS IN ITS PLACE, which means, if they had any courtesy at all, they would have given me till Saturday, they did not, when asked they said "IT WAS UNACCEPTABLE TO HAVE YOUR BOAT THERE, SO WE TOWED IT" Our boat (a $45,000 boat) was parked in an area that was designated for boats, next to two other boats.

Yikes! No respect, or common coutesy. I am a professional business owner who loves New Tampa and the residents here.

There are many nice places here in New Tampa, go anywhere but here, you will thank yourself for it.

This is very sad. My name is Lisa Ortiz, and I do work at The Enclave. I have spoken to these residents maybe 2 times since I have been here over the past 1 and 1/2 years and whenever I have seen them I have been nothing but very nice. I am going to respond to each issue posted in this review. First, the front entrance has been under construction for not even 5 months. Management or maintenance only enter apartments upon notifying the residents at least 24 hours in advance or if the residents call for a service request which automatically gives permission to enter. Regarding picking up packages, I have personally closed the office at 6 and met residents outside and open the office again to get their package or when they call to check if they have one, I will stop whatever I am doing and check for them. I never deny a resident to pick up a package. I even told their children at the mail center that to please tell their parents that they have a package in the office and did not even notice that the mother was checking her mail, apparently the wrong apt. number was on the package and they did not even know there was something in the office for them, wow how rude can I possibly be, I also called them to notify them that their payroll was in the office and they thanked me so much becaue it was important, which they did not know about either, and I would never, ever talk to a resident in that way. Parking issue, I was the person his wife spoke to. However, I can't remember why they received a ticket, but I offered to rent them a garage and deduct $25 from the $100 so they would always have a parking available and the wife told me no, that it was too expensive. Regarding the fire alarm, I wasn't here yet, but to my understanding the fire marshall was the one that did not allow maintenance/management to touch anything because they are not licensed or certified to touch any of the equipment. Last but not least, On, Monday August 8th, I was not the person who called about the boat. I was standing there and listening, and he was asked if he could please come and get his boat, he said he would get it Saturday and the manager told him that was too long and she would give him until Wednesday. She even gave him until Thursday because it was not towed until Friday. Also, nobody humg up on him. The manager spoke to him until the conversation was over. We like other apt. communities that I have worked at offer amenities like boat parking for the residents of the community. When the resident moved out he was told by our service manager that he would have to take the boat and he said he couldn't because of the deed restrictions where he moved to. I am sorry that these resident feel this way. I have also read the other reviews, but after reading this one I think I've had enough. Ever since I have been here, the manager is always trying to go above and beyond to find ways to make everyone happy and accomodate them. Unfortunately, there are the ones you can never make happy no matter what you do. Sometimes they do not want to understand that there are rules that we have to enforce, and if you work in the apartment industry or even any kind of real estate you know that Fair Housing is very strict that you treat everyone the same, so the same rules apply to everyone equally. It's sad that people can be so unhappy.

In a community were close to 500 people may reside, it is imperative that rules of a community are followed. There are times when individuals may not want to abide due to their own adgenda. As management we must take into consideration the needs of all. If a boat is taking up 10 parking spaces, It will leave a shortage for the rest of a community. If an individual chooses to park in a handicap spot for convience, then they must take the responsibility for the ticket or fine. It is againt the law. The management must take the necessary steps to maintain a community, while it may cause some slight inconvenience, our goal is the safety and comfort of all our residents. The Enclave management takes great pride in the community and strive to provide the best in customer service. It is unfortunate anytime a former resident is unhappy, however, once all the facts are reviewed, It may be they were unhappy about following the rules they agreed to prior to moving in and want to blame someone else rather that accept responsibility for their own actions.
