When I lived in this complex, I felt as though my neighbor's were my best friends. Let me stress the point I never talked to them face to face. I just heard them every night when they got home. I lived near the car wash area, so I heard a wide range of beautiful sub-woofer music at all time's of the day and night. The management at the complex (I hope they have changed since I lived there) were about as nice and helpful as a pile of road kill. When I moved out I had the carpets cleaned.
the few stains caused by traffic patterns came out with no problem. When I went to the leasing office on my last day I asked for them to due a walk through with me. The girl said she couldn't because she was the only one in the office. I didn't argue the point, I just had her note it in my file. She said I would receive my deposit back in a few weeks. A few months later I still hadn't received my deposit back. I called and spoke to one of the leasing agent's. They told me that I wasn't getting my deposit back because they had dye the carpet. They said I owed them $300.00 dollars. I argued the point with them. I told them to check my folder I had asked for a walk through the day I moved out. There response was that there was nothing in my folder reguarding this. I know this was a lie due to the fact I watched the girl write it out and put it in my folder. They said they were going to send me to a collection agency. At first I was very upset because I have great credit. So I did research and saw that they were past the deadline that they could send me to a collection agency. Nothing ever happened with my credit, but I'll never forget the lack of professionalism this apartment complex showed. This has been a tell from the New Tampa Ghetto. aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb

I can relate to this, i have to admit that i liked living there
but i hated the parking and the leasing office were the most unkind people that i've dealt with. we were told that we couldn't renew our lease because my friend had a DUI on his record from 3 years prior which didn't stop them from renting to us the first time. but they brought it up at the renewal and made it pretty embarassing for my friend. but then we found out that they were not renewing anyone's lease because they were converting them to condo's and instead of being honest with us, they found an excuse to get us out. and they did the same thing about avoiding a walk through. and we were charged just over $400, i can only hope that management has changed 10 times since then because the only time they were helpful or friendly was when we first looked at the apartments to rent they were so nice and courteous until we signed then they wanted nothing more to do with us
