LACK OF RECCOMENDATION IS BASED SOLELY UPON INABILTY TO VERIFY IF MANAGMENT AND STAFF PROBLEMS WERE FIXED. IF THEY WERE THIS WOULD BE A DECENT PLACE AGAIN.

RATING OF STAFF BASED ON AVERAGE OF OWNER, PRIOR MANAGEMENT, AND MANAGEMENT THAT CASUED ME TO LEAVE.

Lived there for MANY years. It WAS decent. THEN you got a new "management" staff and it went WAY downhill. CLASSIC case of POOR managment. When apartment flooding and raw sewage coming up from the drains were not addressed and apparently FAR less important that a sleep over for a friend of the apt managers daughter (yes, LET the renters sit in sewage tonight, I can't be bothered to have a look and get maintanance started, because I have to blow up ballons), I reached my boiling point.

HOWEVER, when the owner was onsite, things shapped up. HE takes care of business and bent over backward to fix things. A "Come to Jesus" meeting between he, the "Manager" and myself, fixed things temporarily, but they again went down hill. To make things right, the owner took over, paid back ALL deposits, refunded last month rent, waived the early termination fee, and refunded first month rent. He ALSO returned ALL pet FEES that are normally non refundable AND provided logistic assistance in our move.

Up until the management change, this was a rock solid community and I expect it is again by now, as I believe the manager was on a VERY short "Shape up or Ship Out' set of marching orders on my departure.

Final Notes:

The price was excellent for the square footage and layout in that area.

OWNER cares about the property. When the man comes down from up north to PERSONALLY take the helm after a complaint to him is filed and PERSONALLY escorts & assists maintanace on the nastiest jobs to make SURE tenants are cared for you can NOT fault him for anything other than hiring a BAD manager.
