I have lived at Fairway Oaks for two years now and I have enjoyed the experience. The complex has a great location (right next to the USF golf course and walking distance from campus). The staff is always friendly and courteous; Shea and Diane have been willing to go out of their way to assist me with any needs. The grounds and buildings are well maintained. I am currently living in a 1/1 which is very spacious for a single man. I moved to Fairway Oaks from Avalon Heights back in 2007 and the difference in atmosphere is unbelievable. Fairway Oaks is quiet, relaxed and laid back whereas Avalon Heights was loud and crazy. The complex has a true sense of community; everyone is friendly and will go out of their way to greet you in passing. The monthly social events put on by the complex provided me the opportunity to meet and get to know my neighbors. Maintenance was super fast, the only maintenance issue I ever had was a fluorescent light burning out and they were out to replace it within the hour. I have had a great experience living here and I would definitely recommend Fairway Oaks.
