I signed a year lease and within the first 3 weeks had given my 60 day notice! The complex during the day is TOTALLY different than the nights and weekends, which is how they got me. The apartment has roaches and lizards, the applicances are ancient, the carpeting is so nasty I developed allergies and the countertops are falling apart. The girls at the management office are young, dumb and inefficient but they take their cue from the manager Donna who is too scared to leave her office and but loves to be disrespectful to tenants over the phone. The entire complex is a GHETTO HELLHOLE! There are people who watch the complex from all 3 tiers 24/7. Then there are the "garage thugs" that hang out in the garage all day and drink Corona. The kids are allowed to play soccer in the halls. There's pet feces everywhere. I live across the hall from 2 "PSYCHO HILLBILLIES ON METH" that have started a fire BBQ'ing in the hallway, flooded their apartment with a waterbed and have changed the lock and barricaded themselves in their apartment so management can't get in. The Sheriff and the Police Department are here on a routine basis. It's not safe. The concrete steps are loose and being held up by nails as are the cabinets in the apartment. Many apartments have water damage due to a leaky roof and have mold growing inside the walls that they try to cover with paint. Half of the lights in the garage are missing or blown out. DON'T LIVE HERE!! Take the time and spend the money to find a nicer, safer, cleaner complex. Had I known about apartmentratings.com, I would have NEVER, EVER moved here!!
