Fisherman's Landing is a beautiful apartment complex. The grounds are very well taken care of and the building look very nice. However, inside is different. The stoves are so old that they have analogy turning clocks. I had to sharpie in my guess for what the oven dial said because I couldn't read it and mistook broil for bake. The dishwasher is fine, but ours is tilted back so that the drawers slide back in as you load it.

There is something of a bug problem, although they really do try their best to keep it clear of pests. It can't be helped since they're right next to the river. Expect spiders, water beetles, roaches, and GNATS. We have a constant problem with gnats despite our best efforts. Rainy season makes it worse

Parking lot floods really easily and parking near your building is almost impossible after 5pm. But the worst part is the fading parking lines that make it impossible to tell which is the actual line.

They force you to pay $20 a month for valet trash service. But the pick-up time is after dark and they don't pick -up on Fri, Saturday or Sunday. Which means the raccoons will tear through you're trash and then you will get charged. It's avoidable, but annoying.

The management is awful. The people in the office do not give two shits about you. They want you to pay your rent on time and shut the hell up. If you need maintience, pray that you get put through to a mainteince guy. Once I called the office because my oven was sparking. She assured me she'd get someone over there right away. But an hour later, I called again and the office was closed. I left a page for the mainteince guy and he said he was already heading home and no one told him about the oven before he left. He came early the next day, though. Instead of getting a new oven, they just replaced the coils inside it. This is the second time our oven/stove has broken. How badly does the damn thing need to break before I get a new oven'

When we were moving in they constantly told us the price for a 2/2 was $839. I have it in Shannon's own handwriting. However, a week before move-in they told us it was $1,010. After three days of phone tag, I got them to reduce it to $859. Although with all their fees we pay $910 a month on average.

And that wasn't even all the ---- they pulled when we were moving in. On top of the price, they hadn't even finished cleaning the apartment. They told us they'd be ready for us to move in a day earlier than expected right up until they decided that they didn't have enough time at all, ie two days before move-in. I was so pissed at these people.

Don't let the management cheat you. Expect ancient appliances and sub-par service. Its not a bad place to live, by far. But KNOW what you're getting. Out of all their units only 5 have updated appliances. I probably still would have moved in, despite the appliances. This place is really nice.
