The location is nice. The office staff is friendly. But I must say the price isn't right for what you get. And a BIG problem is what they decided to do when some people's checks bounced.

The rent for a studio apartment is going up to about 500 a month. It's only a couple hundred square feet, no patio, no dishwasher, no washer/dryer, and no utilities included. The A/C is a wall unit like you would have in a hotel. Finally, the shower head is only about 5 1/2 feet up. So, if you are 6 ft., like me, you have to bend down to wash your hair.

As far as the rent. One month after the new people took over (it's known as Fountainwood Manor now), someone's check bounced. They thought the "fair" thing to do was to make everyone pay with money orders, even people like me that have lived there for almost 3 years and never bounced a check. I asked about this and they said I could set up a direct debit thing and I would have the paperwork within a week. I asked about this for 3 months before finally giving up. So basically, I've had to pay with money orders for the past 8 months. Really a big hassle.

As far as grounds, they trimmed the bushes the other day. They butchered half of a bush near my place, and left the rest as normal- looks horrible. They also went into my private garden area and hacked up those bushes too.
