I wish that I had known all of this before I signed the lease. This place is a rip off!! I did not agree to live w/ roaches when I signed the lease. They need to either tent the entire complex or demolish the place. I haven't eaten from my kitchen since I've been here. If they claim that there isn't a pest problem, then why do they claim to have me set up on weekly pest control. I am constantly cleaning for fear that more bugs will come to visit the ones that were already here. I haven't been here long enough to enjoy the spaciousness because I'm constantly looking at the roach that is crawling across the floor, counters, or cabinets. When you have to pay $735.00/mo, do you expect to have to be responsible for providing your own filter for the air conditioner ( that runs for more than an hour nonstop and only adjusts the temp 5 degrees) and provide your own pest control because what they claim to be doing isn't working. The water runs rusty from the pipes for at least 20 secs before it runs clear. The water in the sinks smell like sewer water. My hair has taken a TKO when I wash it everytime. It's a wonder I still have some, but it's very damaged as a result from the rust. The people that live around you are loud and inconsiderate. I've had to call the sheriff's dept for noise disturbance. When you call the office during normal business hours, you're lucky if they answer. Don't expect them to return your phone call if you leave a message on their voicemail, just pray that you don't call w/ a maintenance emergency, because you may be better off trying to fix the problem yourself or pay for a professional. It's nice to have a balcony, if you can tolerate the smell of urine from when people decide that they can't wait to get to a toilet. I understand that people need their jobs, but when you have to lie to get new tenants just remember "what goes around comes around". I have pictures and will post them later when the film are developed. I know the saying you get what you pay for, but DAMN!!!! This is too much money to waste on such a dump. I'm very disappointed and wish that I never moved here. I will be gone soon.

Please give up the drama, Did you not walk your apartment prior to signing? I bet you did and loved it. Who ask any resident to buy there own filter i bet if you asked for one it would be there .

This place really sucks. I'm a single parent and I have a child with asthma, they only showed me the model apartment and didn't let me see my apartment before I moved in. The day I moved in, I did a video, the AC unit was not working, the roaches were everywhere, my sink in the main bedroom was clogged with some black gunky stuff, the walls are all yellow because they never painted the apartment, the stove vent has no filter, there was mold in the bathroom. I went to the office and all hell broke loose. I threatened to show the video to the local news and newspapers. Within 15 minutes, I had the repair guys working on my AC. They unclogged the sink but never finished what they promised. I took it upon myself to sanitize my entire apartment and kitchen, I put sealent on any gaps in the cabinets and put down contact paper so that the roaches won't come back, there are stray cats in the stairs, I had to use a water gun to get them to go away, and I think that there is some drug activity going on outside in the parking lot .

Thanks for sealing my decision NOT to move here.My husband and I are relocating from ND,and we looked at these apts.I saw the broken windows on the clubhouse. What they call the excercise room was locked, but no big loss.....it looked to only have about 3 pieces of equipment in there, and big visible stains all over the carpeting!Yuk!There was grafitti on the hallway walls, and I personally saw some sort of water damage on a closet wall.I've never dealt with places like this before. These, and some others we looked at,don't seem to realize that if you keep the grounds and buildings looking nice, people will be more willing to pay a little more. This just ISN'T the norm in the North!!YUKK!!!(The only thing that looked nice was the office area!).

I have lived 5 years near the pool.Newsflash the gym has not been open in 5 years. Wild teenagers broke all the equipment and they shut it down for good.I live next to the gym and and club room ditto on the club room. At night persons try to break in the club room and the workers chang the glass over and over. Two weeks later the same thing. Its just a bunch of wild teenager that parents are not watching. I called the police sometimes but they run away befor they get there. They need to get rid of the bad people 1st before making changes to the apartments.**Signed Concerned Resident

No one likes living with roaches. But I was expecting to see like 50 roaches not 4. You made it sound traumatic, like you you were dying. Maybe someone should have checked the apartment before you moved in. This is Florida. Palmetto bugs are everywhere those large (roaches). Native Floridians know the difference between palmetto bugs and roaches. HINT... Palmetto bugs live in palmetto trees. Oh yeah, palmetto trees are native to Florida too. Most northerners dont know that either. Hope this FYI helps.

Wow, I'm so glad I read these reviews. I'm from up north and have lived here for a long time. And I currently live in a complex where I rarely ever see a bug - palmetto or otherwise. So just because you live in Florida does not mean you HAVE to have bugs in your apartment. I'm grateful for this site because I would have made a huge mistake moving here. I hope those of you who have already made that mistake are able to get out soon.

People give it up already. Bottom line...it doesn't matter WHERE you are from and what the bugs may look like, they are still bugs! Whoever dismisses the disgust of having creepy crawlies in your living space must keep a trashy house and probably feel at home living like "Joe's Apartment" or trailer park trash.

I live here and I totally agree!! Rust does come through all the pipes!! It's disgusting, I haven't had a bug problem though, see a few every now and again. I call and they come every Wed. It is very noisy and the model they show is nothing like the one you get! My bathroom roof is about to collapse and after many time they still haven't fixed it!! Parking is terrible! Bums are all over and actually come up to you. Its not safe at all, I really wished I hadn't moved here

These apartments are NOT SAFE, if you want a real look to them, go at night time, its a nightmare, there is a gang who sell god knows what and are always hiding from the police patrol, try to park a decent car there and good luck if next morning you find it without a broken window, the neighbors do not respect everybody elses night sleeps because they can go with the music out loud all night, and because of the apartments are so old isulation its something you wont fin here, as well as a home sweet home, definitely go find a better place.
