I definantly do NOT reccomend this apartment complex to anyone. This is the worst complex I have ever lived and the rent isn't even that cheap. The management is horrible. They refuse to do anything for you. It takes an arm and a leg to get them to solve any problem you might have. Not to mention the fact that my porch floods everytime it rains due to lack of gutters on the left side of my building. Not only does it flood but the hole that is forming from the constant florida rain, is eating at the foundation of the building. Now one wonderful thing about this complex is the Maintanance crew. As long as you are friendly with them they will do anything for you. I have become close to them and whenever I have a problem I go to them directly since it takes weeks for the management to take care of it. Another thing about management... god forbid you are 1 day late on rent.. they send you a letter threatening eviction in 3 days!!! So all in all unless you can sleep through anything, have no allergies to mold... or anything... don't mind dog hair (or bird seed) from your upstairs neighbor on YOUR porch, lack of landscaping, and a complete lack of sympathy from your management... I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS COMPLEX!!

I have to agree with this posting. I live here now and unless you become friends with maintenance it takes forever to get something done. The office staff just gives you lip service so you shutup and go on your way. I have dealt with this property manager before at another complex and she was just as slow at dealing with property matters as she is today.

I must say, i COMPLETELY agree with every single thing you just said. I've been living here for 1.5 years now and cannot WAIT to get out!!! I love the location, but that's about it! The apartments are gross! they are old, moldy, sinking, uneven and way way way outdated. I have the same problem with my porch flooding. The maintenance staff is GREAT! they have always helped me since day one. the staff in the office is a completely different story. They are no help and will say anything just to shut you up. There is a barking dog across the way from me that I have complained about 5 times now. They have done NOTHING! Not to mention the infestation of fruit flies and sugar ants. Hidden Palms is a joke! DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! Save yourself!
