Just average and going downhill quickly

I lived here for 1.5 years and during the first part of my stay here, things were great (except for the hell that i had to pass through to get qualified) I got into a brand new unit with a pool view.

The complex was clean and quiet because some of the units were still being built.

I renewed my lease because it was still a good value for the location.

A big mistake, I soon realized, because the neighbors got rough.

I could hear people screaming and fighting, getting arrested.

Loud thuds from the ceiling and kicks to the wall were getting common by the day.

I saw people having sex in the pool, I never went in the pool afterwards.

The teenagers that hang around the complex gave me chills.

I know for a fact that there was a gang fight between the latinos and the ------ and some kids got seriously hurt.

As soon as my lease ended, I moved out.
