We moved here in January 2006 and have been here since.

It is now almost October 2007 and our lease expires on April of 2008.

While I cannot complain about the quality of the apartment itself, I'm sad to say this community is definitely on the decline.

Throughout our time here, we've had to deal with noisy downstairs neighbors.

Yes, you read correctly, downstairs neighbors.

We live in the 3rd floor and we've had to deal with our neighbors downstairs playing their loud, ghetto music throughout all hours of the day.

It's amazing to see the lack of regard for the fellow human being to this extent.

You try inviting friends over for a nice night in when everything in your house is vibrating because P.

Diddy's new song is out.

It finally came to the point where we were calling the police/notifying the main office virtually everyday.

It soon stopped altogether, but a few months passed, and they are at it again.

We are tired of fighting these rat bastards and have decided to just deal with it until our lease is up.

On top of all this, my girlfriend's car was broken into last year, but luckily there was nothing to take.

They seem to have taken good care of the car while they were in it, and did not damage anything.

The only thing that was out of place were her speaker grilles - they were removed but left behind unharmed.

That same night, they also threw a motorcycle in the pond and broke into 1 other car.

We filed a police report, obviously, but you know how that goes.

Who knows if they ever caught those responsible...

There have been numerous other disturbances living here - I'll describe another scenario that happened to my girlfriend.

I was at work one day, circa 6:30PM.

My girlfriend had picked up some things at Publix to prepare for dinner that night, and as she was walking up the stairs, there was a conglomeration (5 ) of ------ sitting on the stairway.

As she climbed the steps and approached them, they refused to move out of the way.

Finally, after she said excuse me, one of the girls let her through and actually conjured up the will to say "sorry".

This was a mistake.

One of the black guys got up in a rant and questioned his "friend" as to why she was apologizing.

He said something to the extent of, "why you apologizing for' she wouldn't apologize to you, damn..." Needless to say, my girlfriend was very upset and proceeded upstairs crying (she's sensitive).

If you're in the mood for odd humor, well, you're in luck.

My girlfriend and I were getting ready to go to dinner one night, and as we approached my car, we found miscellaneous chicken parts on my windshield and hood.

Luckily, it was not fried chicken, but rather appeared to be broiled chicken.

Now, I've seen cars be broken into, stolen, and keyed, but I must admit this was the first time I had seen a car be used as chicken-disposal.

I'm afraid to say it is due to the influx of lower-class ------ and Puerto Ricans that this neighborhood is no longer feasible to live in.

Call me a racist, call me a ------ bag, but please, don't forget to call me a realist.

If you're looking for a great deal on an apartment, look no further.

If you're looking for a quiet place and general peace of mind, keep moving!!!

the only i have to comment on your post is, yes some Puerto ricans can be load but rednecks, and black people are no better trust me i live in the same apartments.

To Butafly5583 , Your grammer is incorret and as for the ------, we are better to know that before posting a comment to make sure the SPELLING is CORRECT ! lol For the record all race is Loud at one point in time

Please explain to me how you have the audacity to correct someone's "grammar" but your statement is "make sure the SPELLING is CORRECT"? seems to me that butafly5583's posting was better written than hypemaica... For the record spelling and grammar are two different elements... but if you did not catch on to that minor detail in elementary school there is no need to expound on it now... the only thing wrong with the prior comment was that it was missing a word. However, had you taken the time to review your comment you would have found that there were 3 spelling errors and numerous grammAr mistakes (yes, the â??aâ?? is capitalized for a reason)... The bottom line is if you want to give English lessons get a degree and Teach! As this type of critique could have a better place in the Hillsborough County Public School System, which based on your ignorant remarks and poor writing, is failing the children of Tampa... This is about APARTMENT RATINGS not your need to make up for the lack of validation in your life. Ignorance is just Ignorant ~ No matter what color you are! Now spellcheck & grammartik that. (Oh, by the way those are programs that even you can use)

Remember, not all the North Americans are sexual predators or "unabombers" ( I can't generalize)..thus not all Puerto Ricans are the same..I'm from Puerto Rico and I'm looking for a good place to live ...and for a good place I mean no loud music, no loud neighbors...no drug dealer and no sexual predators near my family..

To;Anonymous. BRAVO ;) Hands down you did outstanding! I LOVE you're come back. Firts of all this page is for those who have complaints or/and good remarks on the apartment listed, not a play ground for insults and put downs from jerks. I read and understood the first remark perfectly clear, however the second one who was a jerk I did not ! I myself am Cuban not Purto Rican but have many friends who are Purto Ricans nad find thier remarks insulting & rude. I am looking for a good place to live for me and my 3 children and am looking at these notes to determine the best & safest place for us to live. Not looking for jerks who have nothing better to do with their sorry lives then to sit back and insult others to make themselves feel better about their sorry ---'s ! GET a life.
