You'll find problems with any rental community but it always seems that yours are the most dire concerns ever as you experience them. Initially, I was pleased with my experience here. It seemed clean and safe. The office staff seemed friendly and like problems would be resolved quickly. However, there have been some issues that have not been resolved to my satisfaction.
The lampposts are almost always broken or flickering. When we've asked about repair for them, we've been told "It'll be fixed." It hasn't. I walk to the back of a building on the water and it is so dark. Even now, the lampposts aren't fixed. The contractors are just leaving lights on in the unoccupied units, so it does appear brighter. The construction and renovation have provided us with nothing but headaches. I have a dog and so they need to give us written notice in order for us to put him in his cage or one of the rooms. Frequently, we've returned home to find a written notice that they'll be entering our apartment the next day. We live in a 2nd floor unit. We use our bonus room as a storage room. It is filled floor to nearly ceiling with boxes. They gave us written notice on Monday that they would be coming in on either Tuesday or Wednesday. There isn't much time (or space) to unload that room. Our friend also lives in a 2b apartment here and her daughter uses the bonus room as a bedroom so she doesn't have to share with her younger sister. Her daughter was bedroomless for a week as it took them that long to trade the windows. When the crews were done, did they clean up the mess they made in the bonus room' No. With the painting, they told us that they would start painting on one day. As a result, we took down our Christmas decorations and moved our porch furniture in the apartment. I think it was about a week later before they even painted our building. Our unit is being sold as a condo and so we received paperwork that came through certified mail. Since both my mom and I work full-time during the day, one of had to go to the post office to pick it up. I think our problems have been magnified as a result of the condo conversion.
The location is convenient. The view from a water unit is great. However, parking is difficult. I can hear my neighbors' phone ring (and their marital disagreements.) The community amenities need some work. If you look on one of the news channel's websites (NBC I think) you'll find that the pool was closed a year or so ago for unsanitary conditions. The pool itself needs some repairs and you couldn't pay me to get in the hot tub/Jacuzzi/whatever you want to call it. The fitness center is open 24/7 which is nice (it is $50 for the nautilus room key) but there isn't a wide variety of machines so depending on how much you like variety, you might want to keep your gym membership.
As for the office staff, I've only dealt with two people. The people I've dealt with are great but I have heard complaints about the staff.

**Edited portion...I previously wrote this review and have the following to add. Due to pure convenience and not knowing whether we wanted to buy or rent in Tampa, we stayed another year. It has had some ups and downs. We moved into a renovated unit and it looks very nice. Unfortunately, it isn't necessarily very nice. As it was a mass renovation that was designed to be cost effective, the best materials were not used and there are some flaws (cracks in the grout for example, easily scratched countertops.) We have experienced some maintenance problems which we were told would be resolved but then took well over a month to resolve. Then we made a fuss and they apologized and have been pretty responsive ever since. Parking is still a pain. Aggressive dogs are around. I reported them and the one person's response gave me the feeling that she was like friends with the people or something, I don't know. I reported it to a different member of the staff and they took it more seriously. Renting is always a challenge and sometimes here it is more difficult than it has to be but it isn't as bad as it could be.
