I'll write it again.
We moved in last summer, didn't really have any problems. We were told we'd have a new bathroom (we have the renovated apt), and were pretty upset with our mildew-infested shower and glass doors caked in water marks. There are iron stains all over the walls and floor around the shower, its digusting.
We went out of town for Thanksgiving and came back to a flooded bonus room. Lost a surge protector to the water damage. We had stains and bubbling all over the ceiling, walls, doorframe, and even into the living room. So about 4 days after we reported the damage, guess what they do' Paint over it. If I could post the pictures of the damage almost 4 months later, I would. It looks horrible, and the room has a horribly musty smell to it.
We've also been threatened and cursed at by one of our neighbors, who yells at anyone who walks their dog near his window. I guess he thinks that every owner doesn't clean up after their pet. Once he made a racist remark and physical threat, we reported him. Guess who still lives here'
There are also two registered sex offenders living in the complex, one on Baywater near the tennis courts that the children take lessons on. We had to have a background check to live here, but these creeps can rent here'
We will definitely not be renewing our lease, we're even considering breaking it because we're constantly sick from the mold and mildew in our apartment. They haven't even fixed our screen that they sent US a notice saying they were going to fix it in February. I wish we had known about the renovations before we moved in, otherwise we never would have. It has been such an inconvenience.
