To all of my friends at Island Walk and to future residents: I posted my opinion of Island Walk on this site numerous times as allowed under the First Ammendment. Here is (and I quote verbatim) a paragraph of the threatening letter I received from Island Walk on-site management today: "Your actions are in violation of Paragraph 20 of your lease, "Prohibited Conduct", which prohibits "disturbing or threatening the rights, comfort, health, safety, or convenience of others (including our agents and employees)." "disrupting our business operations," and "injuring our reputation by making bad faith allegataions against us to others." This correspondence I received was witnessed by a local sheriff deputy, why I don't know. So, if you live here, don't voice your opinion because they will send you letters like this witnessed by a deputy that will make you think twice about exercising your right to free speech. For future residents, this is how it is at Island Walk if you speak up. And by the way, NOTHIING I said was false. And if their reputation is injured, it's their own doing. I bought a home, no need to live like this anymore. But for those who live her and for those considering a move here, I would suggest that you take into consideration everything that is written on these boards. I can't say who wrote the positive comments but if you ready the comments back to 2004, you can see that these problems existed long before I posted.

The complex needs to clean up their act not silence the people warning others to not move in. When will they get it right? Good for you for sticking up for your rights.
