when we first moved into this complex it was really very nice and clean. That was less than 6 months ago. Since then the complex has been painting and fixing up, but the security and cleanliness has really gone downhill. The pond in front of us has beer bottles and all kinds of trash in it. Our boat has been vandalized, ornaments in front of our apartment have been stolen, my car has been keyed, and we constantly have solicitors knocking on our door. This is a gated community and all complaints to the office are handled with "call the police". The amount of rent that is paid is astronomical for the services we receive. The trash at the compactor is always overflowing and disgusting. Juviniles are wandering around the complex all hours of the night and have loud gatherings on the island. People walk their dogs and do not clean up after them. It is turning out to be a nightmare.
