Island Walk formerly Parker's Landing

I have to laugh when I read these reviews about the high rents and the lack of parking - and let's not forget the safety issue. As a renter coming from New York City, I can tell you that you don't know how good you have it. How about sitting in your car after a long day at work waiting for someone to pull out of a parking spot. And how happy you feel that the spot is only 2 blocks away. (Lot's of fun on laundry day). It isn't an issue of paying for a spot, but most of the apartments that even have a parking lot, have approximately 25% ratio of spots to apartments. These are considered the desirable apartments to live. Not a big deal to be on a waiting list for 2 to 3 years for a spot. Now let's talk about the rent. You would be the envy of all your friends if you had a 1BR for under $1,400 a month. And the safety - well let's just say that most of us are seasoned when it comes to having a gun held to our heads. So I say - stop whining and try making lemonade out of those lemons.

Well, Dummy, I think you totally missed the point of this review. It was a positive review of the complex and meant only to point out the banal complaints of those who don't know how good they have it! I guess you must be one of those.
