I received a promotion and decided to sublease this apartment because of the location. My nightmare started when I was swarmed with termites in the middle of the night. I had to pack my things and get a hotel. Our friends have children and I was n?t about to wake them in the middle of the night. Versailles never had the decency to contact me about this serious problem! My personal items and furniture were in contact with these nasty pests. Try cleaning dead termite bodies and wings out of the toaster, food shelves, plates, pillow cases, window seals, etc... The list continues into our beds where I sleep. My sheets were washed on a daily basis and dishes cleaned twice EVERY time I ate. Lets continue with the water being turned off 3 to 4 times a week. I ended up heating ice cubes to wash my face and brush my teeth. I understand that they were remodeling, but having the water turned off numerous times of the week, living in filth with termites, and moving the trash dumpsters across the property (which was over flowing with construction material) is not a suitable living environment. I should have been given a cut in rent or some kind of incentive to put up with this inconvenience, but instead I received letters on how I inconvenienced them. I and others have moved out with disgust and you can guarantee I would NEVER recommend this community to anyone.
