First thing I would tell a prospective tenant is to continue driving! I am a new resident to this slumlord living facility. Some of the major issues are as follows: If you have a maintenance emergency, it will be responded for several days. Your emergency is not there emergency. Excuses provided are, we fixed the apartment next to you. We're sorry, we don't know how that could have happened. The dishwasher is moldy, smelly and old. Does not work. First day I moved in the kitchen cabinets had live insects in it and this was after they fumigated. Good thing they state they fumigate. My bathroom wall caved in 6 days after moving in due to moisture and rot. Tiles and everything fell in. Called it in as an emergency on Saturday morning and 10 days later after bitching at the office manager, someone came to repair it. After the repair was completed there was no hot water. 4 days without hot water. Sorry, don't know what could have happened is the excuse. Other things to seriously consider is their PROMOTIONAL ADDS. They say it but do not deliver. After 1 month as a resident I am still waiting for my $100.00 gift card. Want to hear the excuses. It is in the mail. The manager has it with her and and she is not here. The gift card is in the corporate office we need to get it. Guess What...we are still waiting. Did you hear about the jacuzzi!! Has not worked in several years. But they still advertise it. It is green and slimy. Rather disgusting. The best thing I can say about Legend Oaks is that we have a short lease and it is an apartment complex that is Legend in its own MIND!!!

I do live here and I have had problems with things here and they were taken care of within a day or two, hot water heater was bad, it was fixed within a day or so, no rack for dishwasher, got one within days of moving in. Garbage around the complex, well that is my neighbors who have friends over and they throw the bottles and cigs packs on the ground, yes some of the people here are trashy but that happens in every apt complex, the staff is mostly great Marni Harkness the Community Manager has worked great with me on everything. I give her a Great thumbs up. The management team does everything it can but people who live here could do more. The company doesn't know whats going on unless you personally tell them. Don't blame the staff who do only management. They are building new dumpsters and painting and doing everything they can to make this community good for all tenants, things get fixed when the Company who owns it lets them get it done. If your neighbors are trashing the community tell the management team, they want to know. I like it here and living in an apartment and being allowed to have pets is something hard to come by.
