I think the staff is really bad, should be required to take drug tests. These people in the office have criminal records. The husband of the manager has three charges in his past for Trafficing in Cocaine 28-200 grams. Drugs are bought and sold almost openly. Cars get broke into and stolen. Stuff stolen off cars or out of cars all the time. Security is a good thing but they can't do anything because the office doesn't care about fixing anything. They have a Jacuzzi here that hasn't worked for years. The front gate hasn't worked in years. Holes in fences and gates that are broke. It really is a dump. The second floor apartments are really scary because when you walk accross the floor stuff like lamps move and wiggle. I think the floors are damaged and are ready to give out. This place needs complete overhaul. There are helicopters that go to the hospital that go over the apartments and make stuff fall off the walls and off tables. It is right near the Hospital. Kids run through the breezeways screaming all the time. Parents don't watch the kids, animals crap everywhere. The guys who fix the place don't speak english, well most don't. It's dirty. The pool in front is fine but thats the only one they show you. They don't show the nasty other one or the jacuzzi cause its broke. People pee at the other pool cause theres no where to go to the bathroom, I was told by another tenant that the manager won't open those bathroom cause she doesn't want to. I moved out a few months ago and was happy to do so. I live in a house now so don't care really. I just happened to look here and see this message and thought I would let me feelings be heard.

Although much of what you say is true, way to point out everything negative about a place and nothing good. You convieniently forget to mention that the rent is low and all appliances heat and air in the apartments work or are fixed promptly. If you expect respectable neighbors, go somewhere where youll pay $800 a month for rent in Tampa for a 550sq footer. Most people that review apartments on this site act like $550-$600 a month should get them a penthouse suite. Welcome to reality.

If you are so unhappy why waste the time living there? What I can't stand about reading these ratings is that I am here for an honest opinion and I get these raving lunatics with nothing better to do than write --------. Can someone please put some real stuff on here.

This is real stuff, the recent drug bust and them running a car thru a major gated area because it was blocked by the police is a major issue. Drugs sold openly is a major deal. Cops in here all the time and things are still broken into and stuff taken off cars are a major pain and issue. If you want to live in a dump with people who don't care about nothing but living behind their doors and not doing anything to keep up the place, this is the place for you too. Please feel free to rent my apartment when I move out. You can invite your friends over to see the place, people haven't rented the apartments in my building and there are several open, they look and keep on looking cause it's just the rent that draws them in and then find out they can rent for something better for the same elsewhere. I know this because I found better and am moving. I looked and checked to see what people said, yes some rant but some are telling you what to look at and you should before you leap.

I lived at Legend Oaks for 18 months - I did not have the insect problem some other apartments have but I had a bigger issue with a cockroach type Manager - She has the mental age of 12 years old and not one professional bone in her body. She is totally unfit to be a Manager. She is downright hostile to the residents and insulting too. The maintenance men were always polite and clean and were prompt in their duties - at least I found them to be so. I moved there because of the price, but, there are worse places - you can move into a beautiful looking place and find out after neighbors have moved that they have left you with guests - roaches, fleas, etc. I never had that problem at Legend Oaks = just the management. Except for Louis - who was always a professional. The Manager and the other wanna bees who kiss her highness butt - they were immature and need a lot of supervision on conducting a professional atmosphere.
