Its is the most horrible place to live, and I am regretting it that we signed this lease. To start off with the staff is the most uncouth, absolutely uneducated and disrespectful staff especially this short brown skinned who calls herself the manager. The pool is always filthy and bums from the streets come in and bathe in it as well. I have found and taken pictures of human feces outside my door and the building. The apartment fixtures are the most oldest and very very cheap. Even a 10.00 motel would have better fixtures in the apartment. I live in the back where all entrances face this wall which is the animal dumping grounds, and the entrances are always dirty with cobwebs, lizards and mosquitoes The cabinets and the carpeting the balcony the laundry facilities are in the most pathetic state. And there is an aroma of feces in the air, I dont know if its thrash or feces of animals. There is only 1 DUMPSTER and if you live next to the entrance then every night you have a good walk to the dumpster. I have seen better apartments and cheaper and more friendlier staff the Legend Oaks. It will be a nightmare for you as well if you move in. If you think I am making this come around and walk in the back of the building where the other entrances are.

It's not worth the money for sure. I lived there ten months and left after turning to the city and causing them alot of trouble. I couldn't believe the trouble with management there. They treat you nice till you sign the lease then you are treated like garbage. The compactor issue was what put us over the edge. Not accessible to handicapped people no matter how you look at it. Its like over a year later and it is still not fixed. It is not safe and security is a joke compaired to where I live now. I live where I feel safe and pay alot less for alot more. Every apartment has problems but when something goes wrong here they are on it right away, we have dumpsters everywhere and a furniture dumpster up front for the big stuff. We are disabled and get help with anything we need. I love it here and hated it there. Bugs were out of control coming from the other apartments in the building I lived in, here no. In some of the building yes because they don't let the bug man in so they have something to hide I am sure. People there were unfriendly except for a few and most didn't speak english at all, that didn't help. Here everyone in the office and the maintenace men speak english and spanish so it's all good. People here for the most part are very nice to us, and the kids here are very nice. Thank God I found a place that was cheaper, much bigger and I have a washer and dryer hook up in the 3 bd 2 1/2 bath townhome I now rent. It's older built in the 70s but it was built much better and stronger than Legend Oaks. I feel great. Good luck to those who don't read this before they move into that place.
