I lived in Lenox for 2 years and I have to say that they are improving the outside appearance of the buildings but the inside needs work! These buildings are very old, they paint over the counters, the cabinets are old and cracking. The biggest problem i have with Lenox is the Roaches. Yes they have a bad Roach problem. You will find these little residents guarding the laundry facilities, and also creeping under your door from the hallway. No matter how much pest control sprays I still see them. Oneday i was cooking in my kitchen and watched the "mother of all roaches" squeeze under my front door and run into my bathroom. At that time I wanted to just break my lease and let him have the apartment.I have blocked the bottom of my door so they cannot get under there, but now i realize that they either travel through the cabinets or along the plumbing to still get in. The plumbing in the building needs improvement badly. My bathroom sink has been clogged since i moved in and the only thing maintenence can get it to do is drain "slowly". My kitchen sink also has a slow drain when it is not clogged and at this time my garbage disposal is clogged. Although the outside of the buildings look really nice now, the inside is really outdated and old. Unless you care more about price than quality I would not recommend this apartment until they completely do a makeover.
