Friendly staff as far as Apt. staffs go. Maintenance was friendly and fairly prompt to respond to issues. Quiet and did not see any problems with crime while I was here. Trash was pretty far away from our location and the rope to put the trash in the can is probably full of uncharted diseases, surely this is an easy problem to fix. Culture is pretty low key, lots of families and working people. Not much of a social scene compared to other communities I've lived in. Pool scene this summer was pretty dead and volleyball court was hardly used. Location is beautiful and convenient with a Publix and gas station nearby, as well as many restuarants to choose from. Could use a better neighborhood bar close by. Clubhouse and workout facilities were good. Gate never worked once in 7 months. Commute to work was over 30 min. into Tampa. Pest control was fair, some bugs, mostly spiders, cockroaches, and tub bugs, but no more than any other apt. complexes I've stayed at. Never had a problem with parking. Noise level being low was probably due to quiet neighbors, could hear them when they were moving around, but was not very often.

Would the commute have turned you off? What part of Tampa did you work in? I am thinking about moving to that side of town but work on Westshore?

I work in Westshore and live in Westchase. If you leave before 8:00 am, leave an hour early. The traffic on both Sheldon and Memorial is tremendous. There are about 3-4 school zones too. After 8:00, it will take you 30 minutes or less to get to work. I realize that this respondent has probably already moved, but maybe someone else can benefit from this knowledge.
