My husband and I have been living in a 2/2 loft for the past 6 months and have been quite happy with our experience. The office staff have been very helpful and friendly every time we have needed their assistance, and the maintenance staff have been courteous and prompt the few times we have called them for repair work. We had to use the emergency maintenance line at 6am on a Saturday morning due to a faulty smoke alarm going off, and a member of the maintenance staff came to our door within about 10 minutes and immediately took care of the issue. We were lucky to have received new carpeting in our unit prior to our move-in date so the unit itself was in excellent condition. The only maintenance issues we have had were the faulty smoke alarm and a running toilet in the guest bathroom. My only complaint about the condition of the apartment is the state of the cement floor on the porch. It is pretty filthy with what seems to be ground in dirt from flower pots from previous tenants. Parking is adequate, not great. We live on the Publix side of the community and parking is ample if you tend to come home before about 7pm, but if you come in after 7 you may have to park a building or two down the street (especially on weekends). As far as noise from Publix, we live in a rear facing unit (away from Publix), and I cannot hear the trucks in the morning unless I am either really listening for them or outside on the porch. That being said, the fact that I can hear them a tiny bit and am facing away from them I would imagine that if you were in a unit directly facing the rear of Publix you could most likely hear them. They do show up quite early in the morning so you may want to take that into consideration. The grounds are very well kept save for some residents that refuse to pick up after their dogs (watch where you step if you walk in the grass...), and as I have seen some other people mention the rope attached to the trash compactor is pretty gross. However, they do have an antibacterial gel dispenser on the wall next to the chute. The noise level is very minimal. We may be lucky and have courteous neighbors, but I can honestly say that we have never had any issues with noise since we have lived here. Lastly as others have mentioned the front gate never works. They seemed to have fixed the left gate several weeks ago (I have never seen the right one closed), but it was once again perma-opened within about 1 week of being repaired. Bottom line: My experience here has been excellent and I have recommended Lexington Park to several friends of mine in the area. If you are looking for a comfortable and well appointed complex in a nice central location this place is definitely worth checking out.
