I have lived here for 2 years and have not had any problems above and beyond the normal rental issues. The staff is always helpful especially the maintenance staff, they even helped me with a flat tire.
As for the person with rats (') I haven't seen a rodent here - ever! I had a wasp nest and the pest control guy was here the next day.

As for the person with the deposit - I was told the minute that I left my deposit money that it would become nonrefundable if I changed my mind. I remember them being extremely up front about that. Sounds like this guy didn't read what he was signing.
Helpful hint: Read before you sign.

I like it here, just reupped my lease for another 12 mos. Some people just cannot be pleased.
