Tampa Police search for armed suspects
Tampa, Florida -- Police are searching for three men they say were involved in a home invasion at the Lighthouse Bay Apartment complex, near South Dale Mabry Highway and Gandy Boulevard.
Police say the men broke into an apartment and tied up one of the victims, forcing her to make a call to her husband to meet them at another location.
Police say the suspects then shot one of the victims at least three times in the leg and hip. They then left in the victim's vehicle.
The victim is now in stable condition and the vehicle has been found.
Police are still looking for three male suspects. They say the men were wearing masks, and two are armed with shotguns. The third is armed with a handgun.

For crime statistics (on ANY community) call the Tampa Police yourself to get the real picture.Lightouse Bay is in district one # 354-6600. They will tell you Lighthouse Bay is a very low crime S. Tampa complex. If you read the entire news story you would also know that the person who was shot was NOT a resident at Ligthouse Bay, nor did it happen here. He was NOT RANDOMLY shot, he owed these men money. The only connection to Lighthouse Bay is that his ex-wife lived here. They did catch the bad guys who confessed this guy did owe them money. No one related to this incident lives at Lighthouse Bay. WARNING : On this or any posting related to APARTMENT RATINGS - do not believe everything you read! |

This obviously meant that the suspects knew the victims. they could have lived anywhere else and this would have happened, they just happened to live here. They did not randomly target someone in this apartment, they targeted a specific person. Dumbass.
