These apartments are cheap and close to the base but have inside theives (maintenance or office personnel) who have been cutting master keys and selling them to other people for burglaries. If you choose to live here, do not have anything of value in your home unless you have insurance, an alarm, security camera or an attack dog!!!! They take your most valuable electronics and jewelry so that they can pawn or sell them.

I live here at Lighthouse bay and have never experienced any such problem.the maintenance and office staff are helpful and attentive to your needs.You may have had an unfortunate experience. however, telling your story is very different from making slanderous comments and making accusations.To say that someone is deliberately selling keys to commit criminal acts with no proof is wrong and criminal it self.I've been here for a year and am very happy and never have had any real problems.I'm sorry for what you may have been thru but, that was just uncalled for.

The residents who posted this are the same people the Tampa Police just TODAY officially categorized as 'nuisances'. The management has been the same for 16.5 years and these allegations are riduculous & untrue. Call the Tampa Police Dept. - District One #231-6130 for details.

As a resident of Lighthouse Bay, I must say the remarks made this person or persons is slanderous to say the least. This resident is mentally unstable and has caused numerous disruptions on the property in the past. I sympathize with the resident for being a victim of random thievery and would not want anyone else to suffer the same fate, but to implicate the office and maintenance staff is ludicrous. Having been a resident of Lighthouse Bay for 3 years, I can say the staff always tries to resolve every issue as quickly as possible and has always been very nice. The property and all the current and future residents will be much better off when this resident no longer call Lighthouse Bay home. I think I can speak for everyone when I say it will be a good riddance!

As a former resident of lighthouse bay (just moved recently) I never experienced any theft of property. The only problems I had were w/ my rude neighbors who played their noise aka "music" at 3:45am, and who left their dog locked up in the bathroom and the dog would howl non-stop, and then being "sandwiched" between 2 smokers. Aside from that the most irritating was when we moved out, one of the residents (bald guy who constantly walks around & is also a federal agent) called the cops b/c he saw a friend of ours who was w/ my husband getting rid of trash, he reported it b/c he thought we were illegally dumping stuff! He is more of a nuisance than the management (and for me to say that says a LOT!)
