I looked at this apartment community. I decided I liked it enough to put down a refundable security deposit. I was told I would loose my $25 to run my credit check but I could have back my $150 to hold the apartment as long as I let them know before 48 hours.

I called them before 48 hours was up and told them I was not interested in moving in. I decided the distance from work was more than I wanted to drive daily.

I waited a few months for them to return my $150 but they never did. I called them and asked them to please return my money and they changed their story saying that the money was not refundable.

I'll never even consider a mid america community again after this experience.
